In this workshop we will call upon the element of water with song and ritual to cleanse, purify, and release blockages to our own waters. We will sing songs of Praise to the Waters and the Goddesses of Water, and work with Yellow Pond Lily medicine.
Kathryn Dusseau Kloos is a board certified Naturopathic primary care physician, herbalist and licensed massage therapist. Her deep reverence for nature and sincere desire to learn herbal medicine led her to South America where she spent 6 months experiencing the traditional healing practices of Chilean indigenous healers and Amazonian folk healers. Witnessing the extraordinary healing power of nature inspired Kathryn to pursue further training as a naturopathic physician. She graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon with special interests in physical medicine, women’s health and pediatrics. Her practice focuses on strengthening overall health through nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, massage/bodywork, Holistic Pelvic Care™ and lifestyle counseling. Kathryn is also a dedicated ceremonialist, who incorporates all of her wisdom and modalities into the workshops and healing rituals that she leads. We are blessed to have her healing presence at Plants EnChant 2018.
Sommer Fawn Moselle is a singer, ceremonialist, and music producer currently residing in Ashland, OR. She has published a book of her healing songs which she shares and teaches; “O Caminho do Som Dourado/Way of the Golden Sound”. She has supported musically and with ritual in the School of Forest Medicine for many years. She is currently working on her solo music album Xàmada and hopes to return to Brazil on tour. She has shared The Songs of Jurema workshop at Plants EnChant the past two years, and will be collaborating this year with Kathryn Dusseau Kloos.
